Recently Airasia stock price is on spotlight when it hit Rm3.67 on 1st Jul 2011. Currently it is trading between Rm3.45 to Rm3.55.
I foresee it will move higher to Rm3.8 when 2nd quarter financial result expected to be release on mid of August due to high load factor in all segment of Airasia operation including it Thailand and Indonesia subsidiary as reported by the management.
Airasia should make announcement of Japanese joint venture within this week or next.
Philipines join venture is coming on stream on 3rd/4th quarter and Vietnam join venture estimate to be start operational on 1st half of 2012.
Initial IPO of Indonesia and Thailand airasia in 3rd quarter and 4th quarter will definitely let analyst to upgrade their share price higher with a high subscription demand by respective country investor as my opinion.
My target price for airasia is RM4.50 by 3rd quarter and RM5 for 4th quarter 2011.
It is highly recommend to accumulate this stock when it is currently trading between Rm3.40 and Rm3.50.
